COVID-19 Notification

The spread of COVID-19 (Coronavirus) is a challenge for all companies and for the daily operations with our customers and partners. PROHS is aware and already taking measures that can minimize the spread of the virus. Currently, we have already implemented the contingency plan, in order to protect all our employees, customers and suppliers.

 

We are aware that we work daily for and with Health Institutions, which are already facing a huge challenge, and that PROHS is an important back up for these institutions, so today more than ever we see our work as a mission. In addition to complying with the guidelines issued by the Portuguese health authorities, with effective implementation on 12 March 2020 and until the positive evolution of the current scenario or express contrary indication, the following operational measures will come into effect on a temporary basis:

 

• Access by all customers and suppliers to PROHS facilities is conditioned, namely, to hold meetings and courtesy visits, except for essential situations.
• All travel by our commercial teams is suspended. We will give preference to alternative communication methods (videoconferences, email, phone, etc.), which allow us to continue our full support.
• Promote remote working (from home) as much as possible, so that our employees are exposed as little as possible.
• Maintain the minimum number of employees in our facilities for operations that require mandatory presence.
• Distribution of masks and gloves to all employees who are working on the company's premises, namely drivers, warehouse employees and technical assistance, for mandatory use in their daily tasks;
• Our technical assistance service remains active, within certain limitations, with support assessed on a case-by-case basis.
• The manufacturing sector, until otherwise indicated, maintains its normal functioning. We are conditioned only to factors external to PROHS, namely those resulting from the eventual closure of borders or measures limiting the transit of goods.

 

We are fully aware of the importance that these preventive measures can have in the containment of COVID-19 (Coronavirus). Compliance with this entire process will be monitored daily. We will also be attentive and vigilant to the following recommendations from Portuguese health authorities.

 

Any exception to the measures described above, must be duly agreed and authorized by PROHS management.
